Travel Demand Modeling
Tehran Travel Demand Model was developed in early 1990’s by Tehran Comprehensive Transportation & Traffic Company (TCTTS). TCTTS was funded by the City of Tehran to initiate a base model for the future transportation and transit development studies.
Our team at Tehran Traffic and Transportation Organization was in charge to utilize the model and EMME/2 software, to analyze the long term highway development projects as well as regional traffic studies in the Tehran Metropolitan area.
